USCIS Announces that It Has Proposed a Rule Extending TN Validity
On May 6, 2008, USCIS announced that it has proposed a rule which would allow TN nonimmigrants to remain in the United States for a maximum of three years before requiring an extension of stay. Moreover, the proposed rule would allow applicants to request extensions in increments of up to three years, as opposed to the current maximum of one year.
