New Visa Application Form DS-160

12/03/08. Summary: U.S. Consulates in Vancouver, Montreal, Hong Kong, Nuevo Laredo and Monterey now require people seeking H, L, O P and Q visas to prepare form DS-160 on-line and submit a digital photo.  Check the U.S. Consulate web site for specific details and a link to form DS-160.


TN Validity Extended

10/17/08. Summary:

USCIS issued a final rule on October 15, 2008 extending the length of employment authorization for qualifying Canadians and Mexicans from one year to three years.  TN status may be extended indefinitely, provided the work assignment continues and the employee intends to return to their home country at the end of their assignment.
