Court Prohibits Enforcement of Social Security "No-Match" Letter Rule

The Federal U.S. District Court in San Francisco recently granted a preliminary injunction preventing the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) from enforcing the Social Security Administration's "No-Match" letter rule.  The court's ruling prohibits the enforcement of a DHS rule which would have expanded liability for employers who continue to employ workers after the Social Security Administration sends an employer a "No-Match" letter.
